About this site
I’m Yacub David Smith, born in New York and at home in Switzerland.
I write poetry, fiction and reflections, take photographs, and explore mathematics, organisations and the patterns that connect things.
This website brings together the different ways I try to understand the world — through words, images and structures.
Some of it is personal, some analytical, some simply an expression of wonder.
All of it is a work in progress.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting.
